![]() ![]() The reason being I'm concerned is if my laptop is compromised. I do this while at startup when I power on the laptop. I want to make sure that when I boot the usb on this maybe compromised dell xps laptop. But of course if I had a virus on this desktop before I did the clean reinstall, then I would be concerned. Finally I did a restart and pressed F12 and that booted the usb and then I did the clean reinstall of windows 10 home on the desktop. I shut down and turn on many times with this issue. Then I powered it on and the kept pressing F12 with no success. The issue was when I did it, I had put in the usb stick in the desktop when it was powered off. I used it already for a windows 10 home desktop and did it successfully. I have the usb stick with the windows 10 in it. I want to do a clean reinstall of my maybe compromised dell xps windows 10 pro laptop. But since my last thread had me posting a lot, then it's hard to read and I can understand why nobody responded. Hi guys excuse me for creating another topic on this. ![]()
